Identity Crisis; Jim Harper.

As the market rushes new identification schemes onto the market, Jim Harper takes a step back and looks the overall effects of this modern preoccupation with identification. Will this rush for hyper-indentification make us more secure?

This is an interesting question: Which is a greater risk ... Does the existance of unidentified individuals run a greater risk to big business, or does big business run a greater risk to the identified people?

Business Engineering w/Object Technology; David A Taylor, pages 200.

David A Taylor looks beyond the world of programming, and sees how you can apply the lessons of object technology and design in a larger business setting.

This is an important book for system engineers and business leaders. It shows programmers how their designs move beyond the simple question of how bits work inside a computer to the larger question of how people work in a business.

The work is important for business students as it shows how the logic of the computers works within the greater context of the company.

Mr. Taylor wrote this work in the early years of the object technology revolution. He is, perhaps a little carried away with the exhuberance of a new technology. Regardless, the book is a good read.
