Finally, here is book that explains the allure of the Riemann hypothesis in a style that an average human being can comprehend, well, with a little bit of effort. I like Derbyshire's style that mixes serious mathematics with historical references and other essays. This is not a simple book. It is a book that presents an extremely difficult equation involving complex roots in common English. It would be a great present for anyone who enjoys mathematics and the history of thought.
